摘要: SUMMARY 1 The aim of the present study was to evaluate effect treatment with enalapril on sensitivity cardiopulmonary reflexes 30 days after myocardial infarction in Wistar rats. 2 Animals were divided into four groups: (i) sham operated, receiving vehicle (SHAM); (ii) infarcted, (0.9% NaCl; INF); (iii) (SHAME); and (iv) (INFE). 3 Enalapril administered at a dose 10 mg/kg per day. Serotonin (4–32 µg/kg, i.v.) order activate Bezold–Jarisch reflex, which estimated as percentage reduction heart rate. 4 The volume-sensitive reflex induced by saline overload evaluated increase sodium volume renal excretion. At end experiments, rats killed hearts excised estimate size infarction. The weight kidneys, lungs, liver cardiac chambers ratios bodyweight used extent hypertrophy. 5 The results showed an impairment INF group compared SHAM SHAME groups. We observed right ventricle pulmonary hypertrophy, mean systolic arterial pressure rate animals. In INFE group, nearly all parameters normal except for pressure, only partially improved. 6 The main finding that normalized reflexes, could be due, part, hypertrophy. provides information about beneficial effects angiotensin-converting enzyme inhibitors normalizing involved regulation sodium, well control infarcted
