摘要: Summary: Vinylphosphonic acid is polymerized at 80 °C by free radical polymerization to give a high-molecular-weight polymer ( of 6.2 × 104) as determined static light scattering. High-resolution NMR spectroscopy used gain microstructure information. Information based on tetrad probabilities utilized deduce an almost atactic configuration. In addition, 13C gives evidence for the presence head-to-head and tail-to-tail links. Refined analysis 1H spectra allows quantitative determination fraction these links (23.5% all links). Experimental suggests that proceeds via cyclopolymerization vinylphosphonic anhydride intermediate. Titration curves indicate poly(vinylphosphonic acid) PVPA behaves monoprotic acid. Radical its anhydride.
