摘要: Abstract An elastic-plastic contact law that includes the effect of permanent deformation in zone is used to study transient response a composite beam subject impact. The governing differential equations are normalized yield four nondimensional parameters which completely describe impact event. A modal analysis procedure spatially discretize boundary value problem obtain set ordinary integrated numerically. Simulation results show local deformations significantly affect response. This indicates importance using an adequate for accurate prediction forces and strains during structures.
