摘要: Abstract Lateral impact of composites introduces a complicated loading into the structure, with both bending and contact loads present. In present investigation, static were applied to laminate supported so that introduced without effects. Thus objective was study effects separately. It found stiffness law observed previously by others also in case. Significant damage loss strength under subsequent in-plane tension observed, most severe case corresponding reduction through hole. Finite element calculations could be correlated strength.
