摘要: The superiority of a local probe method over diffraction methods in determining the interface details is demonstrated by comparison between Fe/Co and Fe/V superlattice data. From Mossbauer spectra, higher quality was evident although x-ray data were similar two cases. In fact, spectrum for case with published values magnetic hyperfine field iron cobalt no detectable roughness/intermixing found. variation as function location atoms, respect to interface, individual moments could be derived. magnitudes thus obtained correlate well recent calculated values.
