摘要: In today’s era of high data transmission, the communication system employs optical fiber as a main transmission path for transmission. To compensate losses along path, there is requirement amplifiers. Erbium-doped amplifier (EDFA) one most popular amplifiers available in market. this paper, starting from basic operating principle to latest trends design and development with EDFA has been discussed.
