摘要: Abstract The paper proposes a novel two stage L-band erbium doped fiber amplifier with forward–backward pumping scheme for transmission of 32 wavelength division multiplexed (WDM) channels. It is gain clamped an in-line Bragg grating (FBG) to provide flat over 45 nm by restricting and reutilizing amplified spontaneous emission (ASE). We demonstrate that it provides efficient small signal minimum noise figure 20 dB 5.5 dB, respectively, in the region (1565–1610 nm) comparing its forward backward pumped counterparts fixed Er 3+ length 20 m −30 dBm/channel input power. also obtain dependence as function each lengths, pump power (both 1480 980 nm), temperature. Hence 10 nm (1580–1590 nm) has been acknowledged where temperature variations become constricted 30 °C (15–45 °C).
