摘要: Abstract In this study, we have theoretically and experimentally analyzed gain clamping spectrum flattening performance in L-Band EDFAs based on a lasing-controlled structure using symmetrical FBG couple at C-Band. Its was compared with single-stage bidirectionally pumped conventional EDFA design. By optimizing the reflection (Bragg) wavelength of FBG, wide gain-clamped dynamic range (33 dB) gain-flattened (35 nm) were obtained maximum 19.70 dB. Our results shown that experimental are highly consistent theoretical simulation results. Consequently, proposed design FBGs can provide clamped flattened operation desired signal power levels.
