摘要: Epidemiologic evidence suggests a seasonal pattern in the occurrence of Hodgkin lymphoma (HL), with an incidence peak around month March. This may reflect variation prevalence infectious agent involved HL development. Using Poisson regression, we examined monthly diagnosis Sweden between 1958 and 1998, based on data from population-based Swedish Cancer Registry. Older adults (50 to 79 years) were marginally more likely be diagnosed February, but there was no after stratifying by sex. Young adult males (15 49 presented often whereas young females less August December. Among children (<15 years), boys significantly have been March, among girls. The is consistent origin, results older neither support nor dispute possibility etiology this age group.
