First description of the horse stomach worm, Habronema muscae (Spirurida: Habronematidae) by scanning electron microscopy

摘要: Habronema muscae (Spirurida: Habronematidae) occurs in the stomach of equids, is transmitted by adult muscid dipterans and causes gastric habronemiasis. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) was used to study morphological aspects worms this nematode detail. The possess two trilobed lateral lips. buccal cavity cylindrical, with thick walls without teeth. Around mouth, four submedian cephalic papillae amphids were seen. A pair cervical present. There a single ala female vulva situated middle body. In male, there wide caudal alae, spicules unequal dissimilar. At posterior end pairs stalked precloacal papillae, unpaired post-cloacal cluster small one case, anterior showed abnormal features.
