摘要: SUMMARY. Proventriculitis was studied by experimentally reproducing the disease in broiler chickens. One-day-old infectious bursal virus (IBDV) and bronchitis (IBV) antibody positive commercial broilers 1-day-old negative specific-pathogen-free (SPF) were orally gavaged with proventricular homogenates produced from proventriculi of proventriculitis. At 7 14 days, both SPF had enlargement proventriculus necrosis glandular epithelium lymphocytic infiltrates glands. exposed to developed disease, IBDV detected reverse transcriptase‐polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR). They also RT-PCR IBV nephritis. Commercial mild nephritis but not for RT-PCR. Both homogenate-inoculated chickens reovirus Newcastle variably adenovirus PCR. Bacteria identified histologic sections, nor they isolated affected proventriculi. Indirect fluorescent assay using convalescent sera intracytoplasmic staining epithelial cells.
