摘要: The unique systems opportunities offered by, and the constraints imposed lightwave technology as it applies to field of distributed packet networks are examined. Single-channel star topology approaches first considered. Terabit-capacity discussed, covering both wavelength-division time-division multiplexing. Multichannel multihop then considered, a particular implementation, ShuffleNet, is described, its performance, well some simple addressing routing schemes, discussed. >
