摘要: Aim  Phylogenetic diversity can provide insight into how evolutionary processes may have shaped contemporary patterns of species richness. Here, we aim to test for the influence phylogenetic history on global amphibian richness, and identify areas where macroevolutionary such as diversification dispersal left strong signatures richness. Location  Global; equal-area grid cells approximately 10,000 km2. Methods  We generated an supertree (6111 species) repeated analyses with largest available molecular phylogeny (2792 species). combined each tree distributions map four indices diversity. To investigate congruence between spatial richness diversity, selected Faith’s (PD) index total taxonomic distinctness (TTD) index, because found that variance other two examined (average mean root distance) strongly depended then identified regions unusually high or low given underlying level by using residuals from relationship diversity. Results  measured either PD TTD was correlated globally, while showed very different patterns. When tested against were spatially structured. Areas their associated mostly islands, indicating large radiations few lineages successfully colonized these archipelagos. located around biogeographic contact zones in Central America southern China, seem experienced immigration situ rates, local persistence old lineages. Main conclusions  show structure which together positive itself indicates demonstrate importance barriers dispersal, colonization processes.
