摘要: Begin, Boivin, and Bellerose (1979) presented an hypothesis relating the random response technique to sensitivity of questionnaire items. This states that if one assumes assures subjects a greater degree anonymity than traditional direct method, then comparison between these two methods would be useful index social disirability particular trait, behavior, or attitude. It is proposed proportion “yes” responses item was higher for group group, socially desirable. If converse resulted, undesirable. The Marlow-Crowne Social Desirability Scale (Crowne Marlowe, 1960; Crowne 1964) used test this hypothesis. results suggest potential new use technique. implications procedure scale construction are also discussed.
