摘要: Various studies have outlined the institutional (e.g. existence of quota laws and electoral system type a country) non-institutional factors political culture that account for variation in women’s representation, general, and, more detail, low representation women US Congress. However, no study has, so far, compared Congressional career paths men order to understand whether this gender gap stems from difference terms duration importance careers male female policymakers.
