摘要: Over 60% of falls experienced by older people result from multiple aetiological factors. Preventing in individual patients requires the identification and treatment these interacting Multifactorial interventions have been successful some, but not all, fall prevention trials. populations selection population most likely to benefit, particular shown effective this group. The implementation preventive measures has low despite strong evidence that fractures can be reduced. Misconceptions about potential for old age, time effect improvement, resource issues nature contribute uptake. An improved system delivery proven is needed.
