摘要: Natural killer (NK) cell activity of spleen and thymus was studied in Lewis lung carcinoma (3LL)-bearing mice. A high level hydrocortisone-sensitive NK cytotoxicity found the after excision primary tumor, but not nonamputated Conversely, splenic diminished tumor-bearing mice remained unmodified amputated Excision tumor prevented tumor-induced thymic atrophy splenomegaly. Histological study revealed presence metastatic cells within cortex. These data suggest that or their precursors are present can be triggered unmasked situ by migrating from tumor.
