摘要: Osteoarthritis (OA) is the most common arthritis which affects human body and can affect temporomandibular joint (TMJ). The diagnosis of TMJ OA essentially based on clinical examination. However, laboratory tests radiographic exams are also useful to exclude other diseases. may be difficult because pathologies that have similar aspects. purpose this study was describe an unusual case bilateral in advanced stage discuss its clinical, laboratory, findings, focusing their importance differential with Erosion, sclerosis, osteophytes, flattening, subchondral cysts, a reduced space were some findings OA. We concluded that, for correct OA, it necessary unite medical history, physical examination, tests, findings. Computed tomography test choice evaluating bone involvement diagnosing establishing degree disease.
