摘要: Polymethylmethacrylate (PMMA) is the principal component of bone cements used for rapid stable fixation implants, such as metal and plastic prosthetics placed in living during orthopedic procedures. PMMA occasionally has been put into vertebral lesions open surgical operations. 22 Percutaneous vertebroplasty (PVP) with was invented by authors 1984. 12 Treatment aggressive angiomas (VA) first indication. 7,12 PVP then other weakening body, malignant tumors osteoporotic collapse syndrome. 1,10,11,15,16,17 The aim this percutaneous treatment to obtain an analgesic effect stabilization patients complaining back pain related spine. This article describes technique, indications, results, complications PMMA.
