摘要: The effects of estrogen and progesterone on the breast are discussed. Since fibrocystic disease or chronic cystic mastitis occurs more frequently in premenstrual period it appears that this condition is associated not only with presence but also progesterone. Cysts appear to be stimulated by estrogenic hormones although unknown factors such as blockage ducts may contributory. use oral contraceptives produce hyperplastic atypical lesions occasion nodularity tender areas breast. Present evidence indicates therapy does cause carcinoma
