摘要: With the aim of describing effect severe feed restriction on liver histology, morphometrical analysis sections 10 alpine chamois (Rupicapra rupicapra) was performed. Five animals were found dead during winter season 1995–96 and five collected hunting 1996. Hepatocyte nuclear size measured in squared micrometers using Image-Pro Plus software. A significant decrease mean nuclei hepatocytes emaciated chamois, as compared to harvested observed. The reduction cell may be linked mobilization body protein prevent ketosis food restriction, hypothesized for other wild ungulates. change hepatocyte consequence a strategy minimize energy expenditure proposed an index metabolic stress undernutrition.
