摘要: Many molecular, epidemiological studies have been performed to explore the association between MTHFR A1298C polymorphism and cancer risk. However, results were inconsistent or even contradictory. Hence, we a meta-analysis investigate risk (81,040 cases 114,975 controls from 265 studies) polymorphism. Overall, significant was observed when all eligible pooled into meta-analysis. In further stratified sensitivity analyses, significantly increased cervical (dominant model: OR 1.46, 95 % CI 1.13–1.90; AC vs. AA: 1.48, 1.13–1.92) lymphoma 1.22, 1.04–1.44; recessive 1.66, 1.15–2.39; CC 1.75, 1.21–2.53) in Asians, decreased colorectal found Asians (recessive 0.75, 0.59–0.96; 0.77, 0.60–1.00). summary, this suggests that is associated with Asians. Moreover, also points out importance of new studies, such as oral chronic myeloid leukemia, because they had high heterogeneity (I2 > 75 %).
