摘要: Abstract A method has been developed for the determination of base-strength distribution solid surfaces. The present consists titration solids suspended in cyclohexane with benzoic acid, using a series H − indicators. surfaces measured by this alkaline-earth oxides and some other bases. Alkaline-earth increased remarkably base strength upon heat treatment vacuum. these proved to decrease order SrO( ⩾ 26.5) ≈ CaO( > MgO( = 18.4 26.5), accordance observation Krylov et al. also expected from partial negative charge combined oxygen anions oxide distinct was observed on No basic sites having an equal or higher than 12.2 were ZnO, ZrO 2 , ThO Na CO 3 . catalytic activity selectivity elimination hydrogen chloride 1,1,2-trichloroethane quantitatively interpreted distribution.
