摘要: The departure and arrival of boll weevil in cotton fields have fostered major control decisions against this pest over time. Field colonization distribution were evaluated using from 93.7 to 154 ha each, located Serra da Petrovina Campo Verde, both the Cerrado biome Mato Grosso State, Brazil, as a function field bordering vegetation crop phenology. monitoring adult weevils was carried out traps containing sex aggregation pheromone. set up considering four coordinates field, vegetation, distances margin. Six each direction with three representing margin (0 m, 60 m, 120 m borderline) other equidistant center (> 200 m). Traps weekly beginning 10 days after plant emergence (DAE) throughout phenology until harvesting. Boll caught first evaluation 10 DAE, irrespective distance trap average per relatively low development but increased significantly through maturation harvesting periods. Furthermore, not only determinant factor for field. Based on these data, exhibited early colonization, already occurring beyond border
