摘要: A PROCESS FOR ECONOMICALLY FORMING MICRO CELLULAR, INORGANIC SILICATE FOAMS USE IN BUILDING CONSTRUCTION AND HAVING GOOD STRUCTURAL, THERMAL SOUND INSULATION PROPERTIES. THE SUCH COMPRISES STEPS OF HYDRATING FINELY DIVIDED PARTICULATE SILICATES WITH WATER EXPANDING MASS BY INPUT ENERGY. ENERGY CAN BE PROVIDED CONVENTIONAL HEAT SOURCE, MICROWAVE SOURCE DISSIPATION MECHANICAL MATERIAL. MAY SODIUM HAVE RATIO SIO2 TO NA2O 1:1 5:1 (OR MORE). HYDRATED MATERIAL FURTHER OTHER ALKALI METAL SILICATES. IT CONTAIN COMPLEXING AGENTS INSOLUBILIZE RESULTING FOAM, ADDITIVES IMPART DESIRABLE PHYSICAL OR CHEMICAL CHARACTERISTICS. THIS METHOD YIELD RESISTANT INSOLUBLE MICROCELLULAR CLOSED CELL STRUCTURE, 2 8 P.C.F. DENSITY, HIGH STRENGTH-TO-DENSITY RATIO, LOW CONDUCTIVITY.
