摘要: Pollen is the major protein source for honey bees, Apis mellifera. It essential adults to produce royal jelly feed larvae. Young larvae receive brood food, whereas older (over 3 days old) pollen in addition food. The nutritional value of has been investigated only or at colony level. Protocols rearing Africanized bee vitro using diets with mixtures had not established. We examined different concentrations (2.5, 5 and 10%) two larval diet. effects on development were assessed. survival fed 10% was impaired; this concentration should be avoided. Concentrations 2.5 5% did show significant changes survival, weight, hemolymph profile when compared controls (without pollen). However, differences observed between (pollen blends 1 2), suggesting that a diet superior digestibility greater familial diversity (blend 2) more nutritionally adequate.
