摘要: We developed a method for rearing larvae of Africanized bees under laboratory conditions to determine the amount diet needed during larval development obtain worker bee. started with 18-24 h old, which were transferred polyethylene cell cups and fed five days. found that successful was: 4, 15, 25, 50, 70 microl first fifth days, respectively. The survival rate adult stage was 88.6% when received daily divided into two feedings, 80% they only one feeding per day. weight obtained in laboratory, single dose, did not differ from those field (our control). All adults we appeared be normal. This technique has potential facilitate studies on brood pathogens, resistance mechanisms diseases also might useful test impacts transgenic products honey bee brood.
