摘要: The A group cytochrome response patterns following addition and removal of a step input chloramphenicol to continuous culture Candida utilis have been analysed. From the decrease in content chloramphenical addition, rate constants for breakdown (assumed be unaffected by chloramphenicol) were calculated shown depend on growth (viz.k = 0.11 h−1 at D 0.1 h−1, k 0.30 0.2 h−1)/ Following drug removal, synthesis cytochromes followed pattern damped oscillations. This was related mRNA concentration which showed phase lead with respect experimentally observed oscillations. Two models proposed Goodwin applied system: (1) feedback repression model; (2) product model. fact that oscillations only generated Model 2 indicates metabolic causing is necessary explain response. period oscillation increase also simulated analogue computer.
