摘要: Abstract As a part of the ongoing studies in developing new antimicrobials, series structurally novel 3-bipyridinyl substituted coumarin derivatives 4a–f and 5a–f were synthesized by single-step reaction protocol under Krohnke's conditions. 1H NMR, 13C IR mass spectral techniques employed for structural elucidation compounds. An evaluation antimicrobial activity showed that almost all compounds exhibited better results than referenced drugs. Among 4f, 5a 5d found to be most potent analogs. Thus they could promising lead
