摘要: Rotational state resolved center-of-mass angular scattering and kinetic energy release distributions have been determined for the HCl (v′=0, j′=0–6) products of reaction chlorine with n-butane using photon-initiated technique, coupled velocity-map ion imaging. The derived from images are very similar to those obtained previously Cl plus ethane reaction. found shift forward more isotropic increasing rotational excitation. indicate that around 30% available is channeled into internal excitation butyl radical products. data analysis also suggests H-atom abstraction takes place both primary secondary carbon atom sites, site producing rotationally cold, scattered HCl (v′=0) products, yielding isotropically HCl ...
