摘要: Ractopamine (RAC) enhances lipolysis and depresses lipogenesis in pigs. We hypothesized that depression of fatty acid (FA) formation from six carbon precursors may enhance enrichment depot lipids long chain FA corn-soybean meal finishing diets. tested hypothesis as well the effect RAC on muscle cholesterol concentration. Finishing pigs were fed 16% protein diets containing 0 or 20 ppm RAC. feeding had only a minor profiles (FAP) lipid depots Adipose tissue lower 18:0 (wk 4) higher 18:3 18:2 6) compared to controls. Muscle effects quite variable. Total concentration was not significantly affected by feeding.
