摘要: This chapter summarizes the basic science of radiofrequency (RF) and its application in aesthetic medicine. The main parameters RF including frequency, waveform, power, pulse duration, penetration depth are described, for treatment is analyzed. Monopolar bipolar devices described detail different clinical applications. effect electrode geometry on tissue heating shown, tissue-specific electrical summarized. discusses which required to reach therapeutic temperatures ablation, coagulation, or subnecrotic heating. used noninvasive, minimally invasive, fractional compared. Finally, explains safety concerns associated with treatments details most common causes adverse events.
