摘要: Abstract Background Despite the recent emphasis on injury prevention, anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) rates remain high. This study aimed to ascertain effects of prolonged activity lower limb kinematics during a self-selected cutting maneuver. Methods Angular were recorded an agility test performed until completion time was greater than mean plus one SD baseline trials. Cut type identified and hip knee angles at 33 ms post heel strike determined. A linear mixed model assessed cut type, gender, status angles. Results Males sidestep cuts more frequently females. Females increased incidence after activity. At hip, gender–cut interaction existed for transverse (p = 0.001) sagittal (p = 0.11) planes. showed internal rotation external less flexion crossover cuts. For frontal plane, gender–activity (p = 0.032) due no change within females but adduction males. With activity, both genders displayed (p = 0.29) (p = 0.009) adduction. men (p = 0.001). Conclusions Sidestep may be risky Both place themselves in at-risk postures with flexion. Level evidence 4
