摘要: Seasonal variations of caffeine and antibiotic concentrations were investigated along the selected sites Danube using solid-phase extraction followed by high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC). The potential risks on aquatic organisms evaluated. HPLC methods for determination modified validated showing good accuracy, repeatability, selectivity, robustness. obtained results confirmed presence at four sampling points, near wastewater discharges. mean summer, autumn, winter, spring 24.78, 26.83, 24.61, 86.29 ng/L, respectively. analyzed antibiotics (sulfamethoxazole, chloramphenicol, tiamuline) under limit detection in all tested samples taken from Danube. maximum risk indexes (MaxRIs) calculated each site. Four out seven showed sublethal effects with 10 < MaxRI < 100 (class II), while other three had no organisms. highest was site vicinity one biggest
