摘要: Parkinson's disease (PD) is a neurodegenerative that affects more than 1% of people over the age 60. The principal feature this progressive loss dopaminergic neurons (DAn) within nigrostriatal system, causing motor symptoms observed in these patients. At present, there no therapeutic approach with cytoprotective effect can prevent DAn cell death or progression. Cell replacement therapy began 30 years ago objective to compensate for by transplantation dopamine-producing cells. results from trials have provided proof concept safety and efficacy replacement. However, major limiting factor strategy has been poor survival rate grafted DAn. An important could cause DA precursors host response graft. In review, we discuss factors affect outcome PD, focus on types used functional effects immune graft differentiation. We also strategies may increase which target response.
