摘要: In the past 15 years we have witnessed application of NMR spectroscopy to intact biological systems. The latter consisted, at first, isolated cells, later tissues and perfused organs, more recently whole animals (Gadian et al., 1979; Ugurbil Hollis, 1980). This development was a natural outgrowth earlier studies on aqueous solutions biochemical major feature NMR, advantageously used in these studies, its noninvasive nondestructive nature. Biological samples, including living cells higher animals, may be subjected an experiment without sustaining damage. Nuclear spins from entire volume sample, within range sensitive rf coil, are subject detection, rendering in-depth technique. Intermediate matter that does not contain magnetically active nuclei, or whose nuclei resonate different Larmor frequency, is practically transparent NMR.
