摘要: This study aimed to describe glutathione peroxidase 4 (GPx4) in rat oocytes, preimplantation embryos, and female genital organs. After copulation, Sprague Dawley rats were euthanized with anesthetic on the first (D1), third (D3), fifth days of pregnancy (D5). Ovaries, oviducts, uterine horns removed, oocytes embryos obtained. Immunohistochemical, immunofluorescent, Western blot methods employed. Using immunofluorescence, we detected GPx4 both embryos. Whereas was homogeneously diffused, blastomeres, granules formed, blastocysts, even clusters present mainly around cell nuclei. Employing immunohistochemistry, inside ovary corpus luteum, stroma, follicles, blood vessels. In oviduct, enzyme epithelium, vessels, smooth muscles. uterus, found endometrium, myometrium, stroma. Moreover, observed positive gland epithelium D1 D3 cytoplasm fibroblasts forming decidua D5. showed highest levels uterus lowest ovary. Our results show that is necessary as early development a new individual because it an unfertilized oocyte blastocyst not only after implantation, previously thought.
