摘要: This study was to investigate the effects of Rosa laevigata Michx. (RLM) extract on reactive oxygen species (ROS) production and mitochondrial membrane potential (MMP) in lens epithelial cells (LECs) cultured under high glucose. SRA01/04 cell models diabetic cataract were established by glucose culture, these administrated with RLM extract. Levels ROS MMP detected fluorescent probes. HO-1 expression level, Akt phosphorylation, Nrf2 translocation Western blot. treatment could exert protective condition, decreasing elevating cells. blot analysis indicated that level significantly elevated after treatment. Moreover, when interfered siRNA, levels diminished, indicating induction necessary for function RLM. Furthermore, inducing mediated PI3K/Akt Nrf2/ARE pathways. The would be abolished either pathway inhibited pharmacological manipulation or siRNA silencing. inhibits elevates MMP, through expression, LECs condition. are Our findings provide theoretic basis experimental evidence application cataract.
