摘要: We evaluated the day-time distribution of juvenile and adult French grunts, Haemulon flavolineatum, relative to spatial configuration hard soft bottom areas in a benthic landscape. Probability presence on sites was inversely correlated with distance bottom. Adults at showed no significant relationship A positive found between juveniles area within 100 m, but for 500 m. exhibited either tested. These distributions are suspected be result combined influence larval settlement patterns foraging behaviors associated This study indicates that data collected very fine scales can analyzed context broad-scale mosaic habitats landscape predict fish distribution. Such spatially explicit conclusions not possible through analysis fine-scale or alone.
