摘要: Objectives The objectives of this study were (1) to evaluate if the elevation maternal serum α-feto protein (MSAFP) and pregnancy-associated placental protein-A (PAPP-A) in blood after chorionic villous sampling (CVS) is associated with a higher preeclampsia (PE) rate (2) verify clinical utility analytes for predicting PE. Methods A prospective on 106 subjects who underwent CVS was performed. At time CVS, two samples obtained MSAFP PAPP-A dosage, first just before procedure, second one 30 min procedure. Cases abnormal karyotype, major anomalies or preterm delivery subsequently excluded. The ratio between calculated as Σ (MSAFP post-CVS/MSAFP pre-CVS) it related subsequent occurrence PE. Results The PE 5.7% (6/106). Both levels than (median = 8.33 1.08, respectively). developing had significantly (11.6 vs 7.4, p-value 0.04) (1.13 0.009) those did not develop PE. Receiver operating characteristic curve analysis showed that better predictor ratio: at fixed false positive 10%, detection rates ratios 33 50%, respectively. Conclusion The observed increased risk ability such increases predict appears be modest. Copyright © 2010 John Wiley & Sons, Ltd.
