摘要: Abstract In this work, the effects of alkaline hydroxides (NaOH and LiOH) on direct mechanochemical carbonation using dry high-energy milling celestine (SrSO 4 ) under CO 2 atmosphere was investigated with X-ray diffraction (XRD), infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) carbon analyses. It observed that SrSO not directly carbonated by without LiOH or NaOH additives. Direct SrCO 3 formation during mixture atmosphere, it shown a minimum 50% initial mechanochemically in presence gas. does stimulate carbonation. However, washing milled water resulted strontium carbonate (SrCO because enhanced dissolution Li , promoted activation effect milling. Depending hydroxide used milling, carbonates different space group settings were formed, which have (split single) main absorption bands.
