Dry mechanochemical conversion of SrSO4 to SrCO3

摘要: Abstract The effect of milling time on the dry conversion celestite, SrSO 4 , to SrCO 3 using sodium carbonate in a planetary type ball mill was investigated. After milling, powders were leached distilled water at room temperature and solids then washed with 1 N HCl separate products. X-Ray diffraction analysis showed that started transform within 10 min extent increased reaching >90% after 30 min. A obtained 30 min by increasing molar ratio Na 2 CO :SrSO 1.3:1.
