Different patterns of atherosclerotic remodeling in the thoracic and abdominal aorta.

摘要: OBJETIVO: Estabelecer relacoes entre o diâmetro vascular e a intensidade caracteristicas histologicas da aterosclerose, nos segmentos toracico abdominal aorta. METODO: Foi medido avaliada porcentagem de atrofia camada media aorta toracica 19 pacientes que faleceram devido doenca aterosclerotica. A presenca placas, calcificacao, ulceracao, trombose quantidade gordura das placas foi avaliada, semiquantitativamente, nas mesmas regioes. RESULTADOS: aterosclerose mais intensa na toracica, conforme demonstrado pela maior soma dos escores macroscopicos (p = 0,02) < 0,001). O porem nao apresentou correlacao positiva com idade (r 0,56; p 0,01), escore placa 0,59; 0,008), calcificacao 0,749; 0,001) 0,48; 0,04). modelo regressao linear multipla evidenciou as variaveis associadas ao foram 0,06) CONCLUSAO: apresenta algumas distintas progressao associa-se deposicao ocorrendo dilatacao arterial. Na pode apresentar evolucao semelhante ou estar relacionada menor parede arterial, se tornaria rigida, impedindo compensatoria.
