摘要: The study was carried out with the objective of verifying which measures and morphometric ratios are more directly related to body yield Nile tilapia, Oreochromis niloticus, in two weight classes. Data were analyzed from 257 specimens tilapia divided into classes: p1 = 400 599 g p2 600 900 g. measurements standard length (SL), head (HL), height (BH) width (BW), these (HL / SL, BH BW HL BH, HL) evaluated. following yields calculated: carcass (RCAR), fillet (RFILE) (RCAB). data initially submitted "stepwise" procedure eliminate problems multicollinearity among variables, then correlations between dependent variables (body yield) independent (measured relationships) calculated. Later, direct indirect effects through path analysis, contributions each variable measured percentage terms. ratio BW/HL, for both classes, most highly correlated highest effect on RFILE RCAB, showing be important studied trait determination.
