摘要: Murine infection with the intracellular bacterium Listeria monocytogenes elicits MHC class I-restricted CTL specificity for multiple bacterial peptides. The variety and relative abundance of self-peptides bound by molecules make identification pathogen-derived peptides difficult. In this report, sequence a epitope is determined direct analysis extracted from I molecules. epitope, p60 217-225, presented to L. monocytogenes-specific H-2Kd molecule derived p60, secreted invasion-associated protein. Quantitation 217-225 in infected cells shows that detectable within 2 h and, after 9-h infection, there are over 3000 epitopes per cell. This contrasts listeriolysin 91-99, other major which present quantities below 200 cell until 5 reaches 800 9 infection. report identifying new T lymphocyte isolated feasible. Furthermore, kinetic quantitative useful approach investigate multispecific response complex pathogens.
