摘要: OBJECTIVE This pilot trial examined the feasibility and effectiveness of "Ageing Well," a community-based program for improving cognitive skills mobility rural older people. DESIGN AND SETTING The non-randomised, wait-list-controlled was conducted at regional NSW university clinic. PARTICIPANTS Twenty-three community-dwelling adults aged 60+ who had begun to experience decline in their physical or abilities both. INTERVENTIONS Dual-tasking activities simultaneously challenged participants' motor abilities. Student facilitators encouraged participants progress through increasing complex functional tasks range contexts, including cafe, supermarket simulated "home." MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES Patient Reported Evaluation Cognitive State measured impact an individual's state terms how much they were "bothered" by problems with cognition. Functional Timed Up-and-Go, test static dynamic balance, Six Minute Walk Test.
