摘要: This study describes the development of Difficult Patient Stress Scale, an instrument designed to investigate stress that nurses experience when they are involved in interpersonal conflict with patients. The DPSS is based on theoretical conceptualization proposed by DeLongis, Lazarus and Folkman personality theory Individual Psychology. utilises visual analog scales measure nurses' responses hypothetical scenarios present typical, difficult nurse-patient situations. has been tested over a period two years 228 results date indicate it valid, reliable suitable for use clinical environment. It may provide useful exploring impact frequency stressors nursing assist educational programs better equip deal conflict.
