摘要: Single crystals of the Cd1-xFexIn2S4 compounds were grown by chemical vapour transport method using iodine as agent. The placing ampoule in a two zone furnace, keeping source temperature and deposition at 850 800 °C respectively. resulting with nominal concentrations: x = 0.25, 0.5, 0.75 characterized X-ray powder diffraction, electron probe micro-analysis magnetic measurements. Electron showed that actual concentration Fe was lower than one. diffractograms taken room for each sample, revealing form solid solution whole range compositions crystallize cubic symmetry space group Fd3m. All samples show spinel structure random arrangement cations. behavior investigated low-field magnetization measurements 5-300 K. observed does not any transition studied range. However an irreversibility has been between zero-field-cooled (ZFC) field-cooled (FC) cycles. High susceptibility data follow Curie-Weiss law negative paramagnetic Curie temperature, indicating predominance antiferromagnetic interactions. optical absorption sample shows direct energy gap 1.28 eV RT.
