摘要: A DC braking system for an inverter-driven induction motor, (e.g., three-phase). When a command occurs, the normal gating sequence of inverter stops. Mode 1 procedure starts. In 1, two semiconductor phase switches group connected with one buses and switch third that is other bus are latched in conducting state. The motor essentially receives current, which increases until it actuates current limit device, clearing latch. Then all six turned off. That drives through back-biased parallel diodes. negative voltage available to suppress despite large speed voltages. apparatus repeats predetermined time interval, after 2 2, just as another conduct overcurrent reached. different turns off its complement (same phase, bus) on, allowing circulate windings. This allows decay at slower rate than would 1. repeated interval. If below threshold when skipped only used.
