摘要: In an AC inverter drive connected to induction motor on a material handling machine, the (which has load holding brake and pulse-emitting shaft encoder) moves in hoisting or lowering directions. A method for checking load-holding torque including steps of decelerating toward zero speed, setting brake, applying "float" electrical power motor, changing current flowing rotation by pulse-counting. Motor is blocked if number counted pulses less than predetermined increased greater number, latter indicating that incapable load.
